Doterra Compensation Plan for essential oils ambassadors

You are here because you want to start building an essential oil business with Doterra and you want to know how the 'money thing' actually works. Well you've come to the right place !


THE BASE: BECOME AN AMBASSADOR FOR DOTERRA: GET YOUR ACCOUNT

If you want to earn money with Doterra you have to become an ambassador for Doterra. This means you have to get yourself a Doterra account and enroll as a Wellness advocate.

In order to receive money you will need to qualify. This means you will need to place an order for 100PV or more in the month that you'd like to get paid. 

The easiest way is to keep in place a steady order for 100PV or more (this amounts to a little over €110,-) every month with LRP . That's what I do. Every month I get an automated e-mail to remind me to place my order for that month, super easy.  And 100 PV is easily reached even just by buying my regular products that I would otherwise buy in the local shop, like my skin- and haircare products and energy supplements. It's like shopping in your own shop. And it's a good thing, because you need to really get to know the products you're offering.


TWO WAYS OF EARNING: VIA RETAIL OR COMMISSIONS

There are two fundamental ways in which a Wellness Advocate can earn money:

1. Retail sales profit: as a Wellness Advocate you can buy products at wholesale prices. The wholesale price is 25% off the retail price. The Wellness Advocate sells the products directly to the customer at retail pricing and then keeps the 25% difference as a profit. This way you earn money per each individual sale.

2. Commissions or bonuses: as a Wellness advocate you have your own business and in a sense you work alone, but you are also part of a larger team of wellness advocates that are all somehow connected. Depending on the volume of your product sales and the sales of the other wellness advocates in your team, you can earn commissions or bonuses. These are the bonuses: Fast start bonus, Power of three bonus, Uni-level commissions, Leadership pool bonus. This way you build a team and create long lasting sustainable residual business income. 


Let's take a look at the bonuses and commissions more closely.


FAST START BONUS

This is a great bonus to start off and it’s paid out weekly. Every time you enroll a new wholesale customer or wellness advocate you get 20% of their orders for their first 60 days. This bonus has 3 levels. When you enroll someone you get 20%, your enroller gets 10% and their enroller earns 5%. Take a look at the graphic image below.


POWER OF THREE BONUS

There are 3 levels to the Power of 3 Bonus. Each Wellness Advocate on each level must place 100 PV LRP order within the qualifying month to qualify you for your Power Of Three Bonus. You are paid at the highest Power Of Three level you achieve that month. Take a look at the graphic image below.


Level 1 – $50 Bonus

Wellness Advocate must have a 100PV LRP order within the qualifying month

Wellness Advocate has 3 personally enrolled Wellness Advocates who placed 100PV LRP orders within the qualify month

Team Volume (OV) is 600PV. (Team Volume includes your personal order, the orders of your frontline, retail orders, and Wholesale Customer orders.)

Level 2 – $250 Bonus

Wellness Advocate must have a 100PV LRP order within the qualifying month

In order to qualify, Wellness Advocate must meet the requirements of Level 1 $50 Bonus

Your 3 front line team members must each have 3 other qualified, personally sponsored Wellness Advocates under them with a minimum of 600 Team Volume(OV).

Level 3 – $1500 Bonus

Wellness Advocate must have a 100PV LRP order within the qualifying month

In order to qualify, Wellness Advocate must meet the requirements of Level 2 $250 Bonus

The 9 qualified Wellness Advocates also must each have 3 qualified, personally sponsored Wellness Advocates Wholesale Customers enrolled under them with a minimum of 600 Team Volume.


UNILEVEL COMMISSIONS

The Uni-level Bonus is paid to Wellness Advocates each month. The Uni-level Bonus is based on the monthly volume of sales of the organisation created below the Wellness Advocate. With the Unilevel Commission, you make a percentage off the sales in your organisation. A particular month’s Uni-level Bonus is dependent upon the monthly rank for which the Wellness Advocate has qualified and the monthly organizational Volume of the Wellness Advocate. 

Unlike other companies Doterra's uni-level plan lets you earn the highest percentage on the lower levels. As you grow or mentor your team leaders and structure efficiently for rank, you will see your team grow wider on your deeper levels. This means the lowest percentages are earned on the smaller groups of people and the highest levels earned on the largest groups (7 levels down). Doterra's Unilevel is set up to make sure there is no breakage in payout. By 'Dynamic compression', essentially all uni-level earning are paid out to Wellness Advocates. If someone below you doesn’t qualify to earn the Unilevel  that month, it will roll up to you. This happens throughout every level of your organizstion. Take a look at the graphic image below.


LEADERSHIP POOL BONUS - SHARES


The final way to earn income with doTERRA is the Leadership Pool Bonus which is paid out monthly.


Empowerment Bonus – A Wellness Advocate that qualifies as a Premier or Silver and that enrolls one new Wellness Advocate or Wholesale Customer with 100 PV or more in a month, will receive one share in the Empowerment Pool. Shares do not cumulate from one Rank to the next. A share’s monthly bonus is equal to the designated pool’s percentage (1%) multiplied by the Company Volume for the same month, and divided by the number of shares of Wellness Advocates who have qualified for a share in the month. This is about $200 a month.

Silver, Gold, Platinum Bonus – Each Silver receives one share in the Leadership Performance Pool. Each Gold receives five shares in the Leadership Performance Pool. Finally, each Platinum receives ten shares in the pool. A Wellness Advocate can earn an additional share for the month if the Wellness Advocate is the Enroller of a first-time Elite. Shares do not cumulate from one Rank to the next. For example, a Wellness Advocate who moves from Silver to Gold is entitled to five shares, and not one share from the Silver pool and five from the Gold pool. A share’s monthly bonus is equal to the designated pool’s percentage (2%) multiplied by the Company Volume for the same month, and divided by the number of shares of Wellness Advocates who have qualified for a share in the month.

Diamond + Bonus – Each Diamond receives one share in the Diamond Performance Pool. Each Blue Diamond receives two shares in the pool, and each Presidential Diamond receives three shares in the pool. A Wellness Advocate can earn additional shares, for the month, if the Wellness Advocate is the Enroller of a first-time Premier. Again, shares do not cumulate from one Rank to the next. A share’s monthly bonus is equal to the designated pool’s percentage (1%), multiplied by the Company Volume for the same month, and divided by the number of shares of Wellness Advocates who have qualified for a share or shares in the month.
